The Offering Bowl

Give to the Offering Bowl — Tara Mandala's Annual Fund

Tara Mandala is one of a small number of Western centers where the Vajrayana teachings of the sacred feminine, including the Chöd lineage of Machig Labdrön, remain in active transmission. The Offering Bowl is the center's annual giving fund, and gifts to it sustain the operations that make that transmission possible: resident teacher programs, scholarship access, retreat infrastructure, and the ongoing work of making these teachings available in a form practitioners outside Tibet can receive.

Unlike gifts designated for a single program or capital project, an annual contribution to the Offering Bowl gives Tara Mandala the flexibility to meet the year's most pressing needs. That might mean supporting a teacher residency, maintaining the land, or extending access to practitioners who could not otherwise attend. That operational flexibility is not a lesser form of giving. For an organization sustaining living lineage practice across retreat, training, and study programs simultaneously, unrestricted annual support is often what holds the whole together.

Lama Tsultrim Allione founded Tara Mandala in 1994 on the conviction that the wisdom of the sacred feminine in Buddhism, long marginalized even within Tibetan tradition, has a specific and necessary role in contemporary practice. Your annual gift carries that work forward.
