Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Scholarship Fund

Tara Mandala works to create an environment where the richness of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and life experiences are appreciated and welcomed. Scholarships for retreats at Tara Mandala Retreat Center, Online Programs, Annual Program Fees. and Certification Programs.are awarded to people of color and those who are underrepresented due to their gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, social class, ethnicity, or low currency rate exchange and are in need of financial support. 

History of the EDI Scholarship Fund

The EDI Fund was established in 2015 as part of a multi-faceted cultural literacy program, led by Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer and Dorje Lopön Chandra Easton, to address issues of underrepresentation of people from different cultural, racial, sexual orientation, and social backgrounds.
