Carved from jade, Kuan Yin stands gracefully as the goddess and embodiment of compassion. She is set with agate and green jasper beads, and one stone carved mala bead for luck. Kuan Yin (Guanyin; or Avalokiteshvara, Chenrezig in Hindu and Tibetan, respectively) is worn to warm the heart. She is depicted holding the vessel said to contain the elixir of compassion.
