The delicate well-carved statue of Green Tara is finished with electro-gold. She sits with leg extended, at the ready, to come to one’s aid.

Ten prayer flags blessed during Riwo Sangcho at Tara Mandala in August 2023 including: 

Two 21 Taras Prayer Flags (13” x 13”), with 25 flags per string. These flags are hand stamped with each Taras’ mantra; Four Small Wind Horse Prayer flags (5” x 5”), with 10 flags per string. These prayer flags are hand stamped with images of Guru Rinpoche, Green Tara, Amitayus, Lungta, and Kalachakra on five colored cotton flags representing the five elements and five pure lights. Four Large Wind Horse Prayer Flags (13” x 13”) with 25 flags per string. The five colors are arranged from left to right in a specific order: blue, white, red, green, and yellow. The cotton fabric is more durable and higher quality than polyester or nylon flags; 

Prayer flags are used to promote peace, wisdom, and compassion. As the wind blows the flags the prayers and mantras are spread.
